# MeshSettings

> Human Generator for Blender documentation. Web version: https://humgen3d.com/docs/api/meshsettings

Reached as: `human.process.settings.meshes`

Inherits from: [Settings](https://humgen3d.com/docs/api/settings)

Source: https://github.com/OliverJPost/HumGen3D/blob/main/human/process/settings.py#L237

Changes to the meshes that apply to every level.

When disabled every mesh stays as it is: the body, clothing, eyes and teeth
quality of the levels is ignored and nothing below applies. The hair cards
and the bones per vertex are their own sections.

## Methods

### to_dict()

```python
human.process.settings.meshes.to_dict() -> Dict[str, Any]
```

*inherited from Settings*

The settings as plain dict, nested settings included.

Returns: Dict[str, Any]

Source: https://github.com/OliverJPost/HumGen3D/blob/main/human/process/settings.py#L177

### from_dict()

```python
MeshSettings.from_dict(data: Dict[str, Any]) -> T
```

*class method, inherited from Settings*

Settings from a dict, missing fields get their default.

Unknown keys are logged and ignored, so recipes of a newer version still
load as far as possible.

Parameters:
- `data` (Dict[str, Any])

Returns: T
